Hawaii Concert Tickets for the 2024 Season

U.S. Classic Guitar (USCG) and the East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center (EHCC) are excited to present the opening concert for the 2024 - 2025 U.S. International Guitar Series in Hawaii featuring world-renowned and critically acclaimed Hawaii and Oregon based classical guitarist William Jenks performing a solo recital at the EHCC Kahua ʻElua Theatre located at 141 Kalakaua St, Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 4 PM. His program will include some of the most popular and beautiful gems of the classical guitar repertoire including works by Luis Milán, Johann Sebastian Bach, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francisco Tárrega, and more with music spanning over the last five centuries. He will be performing on a beautiful handmade concert classical guitar built in Na’alehu, Hawaiʻi by famed luthier Woodley White. This instrument was recently gifted to U.S. Classic Guitar by Elizabeth Gandara in memory of her late husband Charles Gandara for use in recitals and recordings featuring William Jenks, his students, and other artists performing in the U.S. International Guitar Series. This performance will mark the start of a new chapter in the Hawaii International Guitar Series now taking place at EHCC with an exciting 2024 - 2025 line-up of internationally renowned classical and flamenco guitarists soon to be announced.
