Roberto Fabbri has an extremely active career as a fine performer, composer, teacher and writer. He studied at the State Conservatory of "Santa Cecilia" where he graduated in 1986 with full honours; subsequently he achieved the diploma of bachelor in music with 110 and praise.

He has developed his musical career as a soloist, and with the famous guitar quartet "Nexus", now called "Roberto Fabbri Guitar Quartet".

Mr. Fabbri is regularly invited to perform ad take Master Class in many international guitar festivals and to judge at international competitions around the world.

Besides his work as a performer, Roberto Fabbri has written numerous compositions for guitar.

In 2012 Fabbri has signed with Sony classical and he has recorded his music in his new cd "Nei Tuoi Occhi". He is the headmaster and teacher of classical guitar at the Academy "Novamusica e Arte" in Rome.

At present he teaches classical guitar at the State Conservatory "F. Torrefranca" in Vibo Valentia and at the Institute of High Artistic and Musical Formation "Giulio Briccialdi" in Terni.

As an organiser, he is the artistic director of Fiuggi Guitar Festival.

Roberto Fabbri has carried out an intense didactic and editorial activity, cooperating with different publishing houses (Anthropos, Berben, Playgame, EMR, Warner Bros, Carisch).

He plays a Ramirez 125 Anniversary 2007 n.1 and uses "D'Addario" strings.

Please Note: In order to pass along the savings of no ticket service fees to you, the Portland Classic Guitar Concert Series no longer uses mailed or emailed physical tickets.  Your name will be at the desk located at the entrance of each performance. For questions pertaining to your tickets please feel free to call or text us at 503-830-1417 but all ticket transfer requests should come in an email or text.  Make sure you give us the name of the person who purchased the tickets and the name of who you are transferring them to if you send a text.  Please give us your ticket transfer request by 6:00 PM the day of the performance.

Also, in order to be eligible to purchase this discount ticket, you must be either a senior over 60, a current student, a Portland Classic Guitar Series season ticket holder, or a Portland Guitar Society member.
